We had such a great year with the launch of Picsello in June 2022 and we’ve been busy ever since! Getting to meet other photographers, learning about your individual business goals and starting to build this community has been so gratifying. It has also helped inform some of the updates and new features we’ve rolled out like client booking and scheduling, offline and custom payments, greeting cards, proofing gallery, and more.
Here are some features we released in 2023 to make running your photography business even easier.
This year, we will continue our pace of innovating and improving as we will fine-tune some existing features, build new features, as well as continue to bring you business coaching in the form of Picsello’s Business Mastermind. Here is a look back at what Picsello released in 2023!
Our automated email sequences takes the endless task of client communication and puts it on autopilot. Your account is pre-loaded with set-it-and-forget-it customizable emails that streamline client communications from leads, to galleries, to post-shoot follow-ups. Launched in January, Picsello’s Business Mastermind has been an community where we have hosted amazing experts and helped photographers connect and grow their businesses! Members learned through monthly expert sessions and Q&A’s, hot seats, and “ask anything”s with Jane and other experts and coaches, and access to a private community. If you haven't joined the mastermind yet, click here to learn more! The community will allow you to find and connect with your business bestie- based on wherever you are in your photography business journey.

You asked, we delivered! While we launched with our templates by job type we heard the need to be able to tailor your very own custom questionnaires. Questionnaires are a great way to prep your client and yourself for the shoot as they help you learn about your client's expectations and demonstrate to them you care about them. The default questionnaires can be used as-is, can be modified, and you can also create your own from scratch. Learn more about how to use custom questionnaires here.
Another early 2023 update, and a big area of focus for us has been client contacts. We rolled out a new, section that provides you with an overview of all your clients and your history with them. You are able to see/sort by progress, tag them by job type and more. Additionally, you are able to upload documents from other systems as you transfer your clients over to Picsello! With our launch of email automations, client tagging is a feature that will prove very useful for you to use.

With this update, we added more customization options and the ability to add more images so you can showcase more of your portfolio in your public profile. Learn more about how to customize your public profile here. You can also learn how to install a Picsello Contact form onto your website here.
Now you can use Picsello as your end-all hub for scheduling. This feature takes Picsello’s one-stop-shop platform to the next level, adding one more way that you can get it all done with one simple plan. Check out more details on setting up 2-way calendar sync!
We introduced client booking and scheduling with great success in 2022. In 2023, we are taking client booking to the next level with global availability settings and more. See how Picsello's online client booking makes it easier for you and your clients to get shoots booked!
This update allows you to send more than one package at a time in a booking proposal to give the client more choices and drive upsells. It also lessens work and time spent communicating for you!
We know marketing is huge part of your business to-do list so we continue to make the marketing section of Picsello much more robust. This includes a new library of emails to choose from and tailor as you like. Additionally, you are able to send targeted emails to your clients by job type or tag. Stay tuned, as there is definitely more to come here!
